JustAlien MICA Compliance 2026

In 2026 July, the financial bodies of several EU countries require 1 000 000 – 2 000 000 EUR for startups to operate crypto tokens.

This is as bad as prohibition for EU small businesses and is not the case in the US where you can operate tokens with no such restrictions.

Since we operate in the EU , we will campaign, these restrictions to be reviewed and lifted as we need to uphold the importance of EU’s democratic laws on monopolies.

The EU companies and equal footing in the meaning of monopoly law, should not prevent startups from operating crypto assets.

The 1 – 2 million requirement is imposed in some EU states (Bulgaria) which is excessive. Last year there was no such restriction.

To remain compliant with this MICA law, we will cease crypto coin management operations which are explicitly prohibited by this version of the MICA law. We will continue offering services currently allowed under MICA as well as other EU laws. We will continue providing compliant services with Blockchain and Crypto, mainly consultant management and blockchain share/ownership verification.

People will still be able to participate in the JustAlien project via donations, which upon acquiring a MICA license may be converted to our JACOIN Ethereum tokens. (or Solana in the future).

However JustAlien can interact with its supporters whether or not a crypto coin is maintained. In a social system we can still distribute profits or business opportunities without running a crypto coin. Company shares or business agreements do not need a crypto coin in order to be legally enforceable, transferable,

Contributions, Donations and support received will be convertible to share using the official price of JACOIN at time of the contribution. See the crypto section for more details.
